Drabblecast
Strange Stories, By Strange Authors, for Strange Listeners.
The Drabblecast highlights on a weekly basis flash fictions from different genres. Its peculiar message is that of off beat, humourous, eclecticism. It is a reimbursing fiction demand, welcoming submissions. It is also the winner of the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Parsec Awards for Best Speculative Fiction Audio Magazine.
Norm Sherman is our charming host, producer, and prime narrator. Norm is also a musician and is assisted by Editor-in-Chief Nathaniel Lee, Special Anthologies Editor Nicky Drayden, Art Director Bo Kaier, DrabbleClassics Editor, Charity Helton, and Interactive Manager and Archivist, Tom Baker.
The Drabblecast ran its premiere episode in February of 2007. In the early days, Norm and editors Kendall Marchman and Luke Coddington wrote most of the episodes. But soon an audience grew, and the podcast began producing stories given by its fans. Soon enough, famous authors got involved.
As the future unravels, The Drabblecast drags on to uphold itself as a warrior between fiction podcasts, always on the look out for the next impressive story, and to keep its listenership pinned down somewhere amid elated bliss and infinite bewilderment.
